Printing onto canvas offers large light weight formats for big walls, as well as softening and warming up ultra modern homes. Offering inspiration and a nature inspired feeling for staff and clientele in urban office spaces, waiting rooms & wellness retreats.
Unique artworks on paper, canvas or wood. Each went through a journey of discovery as unique as the story they offer each viewer. With deep presence and mindful awareness, Candace is led through a process each time as original as the art that arrives.
Just because you can’t be outside, doesn’t mean you can’t bring the element of nature in. If you regularly neglect your houseplants, swap them for art instead…Art inspired by nature!

Original acrylic & mixed media paintings and fine art prints created by artist Candace Tweedie. All rights reserved.
Contemporary layered, visually textured paintings that explore organic forms and the immediate environment. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, objects collected over time and abstract patterns often overlooked, Candace’s process primarily involves intuitive layering of various techniques, such as repetition through printing, mark-making and free writing into her art.
The freedom of this playful open-ended process of experimentation is at the heart of her practice, and through these discoveries she believes the art can be appreciated more for the joy of the making & its inherent imperfections, rather than hours spent toiling and wrangling this wildly alive expression into a merely 2-dimensional and “perfected” painting.
These paintings are offered to remind us all of our inherent aliveness, to encourage us to slow down in our lives and experience the present moment where magic and all possibility resides. And to do so imperfectly, to come into presence and practice staying here…or more likely, to just keep coming back with love and non-judgment. As effective as a meditation.
We hope you accept our invitation.
"Everything changes when viewed with presence.... when we remove ourselves from our fast paced modern lives and really learn to see."
Candace Tweedie
